Discover the vibrant use of color in interior design with room sets from top design studios, Hocus Interior Design Studio, Okhre and Mezzanine, highlighting the 2024 Plascon Colour Palettes. Inspired by the brand ethos of ‘Making Luxury Personal’, Lexus has invited four esteemed South African designers - Mink Interiors, Anna Correia, JH Interiors and Artep Studio - to create four exceptional feature spaces, informed by the latest Lexus car models. More than just capturing the personality of the cars, Lexus invited the designers of the Lexus Designer Pods to test drive Lexus vehicles to draw inspiration and to base their distinctive concept space on one of the five ‘Making Luxury Personal’ pillars: Authentic, Refined, Engaging, Imaginative, and Omotenashi (a Japanese expression describing concepts of hospitality as well as mindfulness).

The leading flooring manufacturer has partnered with Decorex Africa and invited Megan Hesse and Andrea Kleinloog of HK Studio - the renowned international interior design studio behind the Kruger Shalati Bridge House, Ardmore stores, the Durban Girls’ College Library and multiple Singita hospitality projects - and furniture brand Anatomy Design to design unique spaces that highlight hybrid and forward-looking approaches to hospitality design. 

The debut Circular Exhibition will be explore sustainability through the lens of circular design – educating and inspiring visitors, while demonstrating how circular principles can easily be integrated into everyday life. Partnering with forward thinkers House and Leisure, Charl Edwards, Bielle Bellingham, Studio H, Department of Trend, Cameron Barnes, Anja Joubert, Lucie Loops, Xanita, Driaan Claassen, Sealand Gear, Jessica Harwood and The Ramp, we can’t wait to reveal what we’ve got planned. So, make sure to visit this latest edition of the Decorex shows between 06 – 09 June in Cape Town and 01 – 04 August in Joburg and have existing ideas challenged, be educated on circular design principles and ultimately inspired to make a change.

Sink into the plush, all-white seating by Zorora Sofas amidst lush green botanicals from Living Green Walls. Reflecting the latest trend in decor, the bar's wall-to-wall mirrors add an extra dash of contemporary flair, making it the ultimate hotspot for modern revelry and connection.

Experience a burst of color and style at the popup coffee cafe nestled within Decorex Cape Town's prestigious decor and design show. Adorned with designer furniture from Wunders, this vibrant oasis invites visitors and exhibitors alike to indulge in artisanal coffee, delectable pastries, and savory snacks while immersing themselves in the captivating atmosphere of the exhibition. It's the perfect rendezvous spot to recharge and relish the fusion of creativity and comfort amidst the bustling showcase of design innovation.

Indulge your senses in a floral paradise at The Bloom Space Cafe, an enchanting popup eatery within Decorex Cape Town's dynamic decor and design exhibition. Transformed by the colourful explosions of decorative flowers curated by Bloom Space and seamlessly styled alongside furniture from Wunders, this space is a feast for the eyes and the palate. Amidst the lush botanical displays, guests can unwind and stay inspired with the latest design trends, artisanal showcases, and architectural wonders displayed on a giant digital screen. Set against the backdrop of funky, vibrant flip-tiles by Belgotex in acid yellow and green hues, visitors are invited to immerse themselves in this design-centric haven, where every moment is an opportunity to relax and revel in creativity.
