Founded in Egypt, Reform Studio has gained international recognition for transforming discarded plastic bags into luxury textiles through its revolutionary material, Plastex. Their work fuses sustainability, tradition, and social impact — revitalising centuries-old weaving practices while addressing urgent environmental challenges.

The Futuristic Champagne Bar: "The Future of Living" seamlessly blends innovation with Africa’s rich heritage, creating an immersive space that embodies both tradition and progress. Using timber, glass, and metal, the design balances warmth, transparency, and modernity — honouring craftsmanship while embracing cutting-edge materials. Sustainability is at the core, with energy-efficient systems and eco-friendly materials ensuring adaptability for future trends. Celebrating African artistry, the space subtly weaves in indigenous patterns and textures, infusing soul into its futuristic aesthetic. An interactive bar counter with smart features enhances the experience, while champagne chocolate pearls add a luxurious touch, mirroring the refinement of caviar and champagne. From Liquid Metal finishes to large-scale installations, the studio’s work pushes beyond decorative to become architectural. THE SONOS HOUSE

Step into the future of home entertainment with The SONOS House —an immersive feature that redefines how we experience sound and design. Visitors can relax in a beautifully curated cinema room, where cutting-edge SONOS technology brings high-definition visuals and rich, cinematic sound to life. The experience continues in the interactive demo zone, where the latest SONOS speakers, headphones, and audio innovations are on display—ready to be explored, tested, and admired. The 2025 Decorex Africa ‘LIVING WITH BLUM’ - Design Project, is an exclusive opportunity for leading brands and suppliers in the kitchen and design industry to collaborate and showcase their expertise at South Africa's premier design exhibition. This year's theme challenges the selected talented designers, furniture makers, and cabinet manufacturers to create innovative and practical cabinetry solutions tailored to one of three distinct living situations— Functional Living, Harmonious Living, or Individual Living—all incorporating Blum hardware fittings. Following the success of 2024’s debut, Capitec handmadeAFRICA returns in 2025 – with a series of new events and an even bigger platform to share the best of African design and future-forward retail.

Drawing from all corners of the continent, Capitec handmadeAFRICA will bring together more than 40 design brands, each adding their own offering to a carefully tailored and textured experience. Over three major events, the curatorial team will showcase a robust roster of luxury design brands who are distinct in their passion for Africa and commitment to its craftmanship.

Brought to you by Makers Festival SA, The Makers HUB is an immersive celebration of Cape Town’s rich maker culture — a glimpse into what you can expect at South Africa’s first-ever Makers Festival this November.

THE RIALHEIM CAFE

The Rialheim Café will showcase Rialheim’s exquisite handmade tiles and decor pieces in an immersive, design-led installation.  Sailor Tinkerbell is a multidisciplinary artist and muralist. She draws inspiration from exploring humans’ connection with nature and modern culture. After graduating from the art school and graphic design university, Sailor Tinkerbell found her passion in street art and public events. Since moving to Cape Town in 2022, the artist has completed over 50 murals and worked in the art production teams at Wolfkop Weekender, Bazique, Playtopia, Afrikaburn, and other events.
