The Africa International Design Awards (AIDA Awards) is a pioneering platform celebrating African designers and creatives worldwide whose work is rooted in Africa and addresses the continent’s unique challenges through design.

AIDA Awards highlights four key disciplines reflecting Africa’s distinctive design language:
Spatial Design · Product Design · Fashion Design · Communication Design

We invite design professionals, students, companies, independent studios, and collectives to submit projects developed within the last five years — from concepts and prototypes to completed works already in use.

Selected winners receive international recognition, global media exposure, and the opportunity to showcase their work on an international stage. They will be invited to the Awards Ceremony in Benin and evaluated by a renowned pan-African jury of 40 leading designers, architects, and educators representing 18 countries, making the AIDA Awards one of the most representative design programs on the continent.
