THE BEST IN DESIGN AT DECOREX CAPE TOWN 2023

Taking place from 22 to 25 June 2023 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), the show offers a multitude of compelling reasons why you don't want to miss it! Let's take a look.

We have been awarded the Decorex Spotlight Stand for 2023 and feel very honoured and privileged.

Our stand is a small look into the quality of furnishings that we design and custom make to fit the space we are working within perfectly. Our materials that we use is of the highest standard and the craftsmen and women who manufacture for us are highly trained and skilled. Because of the excellent quality of furnishings we design and manufacture, these pieces will last a lifetime and can be handed down to future generations, making it highly sustainable and not end up as landfill.

I wanted to showcase a natural, tranquil living area and bedroom - spaces that are timeless, welcoming and inviting, yet layered with interest and textures giving it loads of character. Spaces that can appeal to a majority of people, their taste and style. We do not follow trends which date, so what you will find on our stand is unique and awe inspiring.

The artwork on our stand are all by amazing South African artists and commissioned especially for our stand, they compliment the neutral scheme perfectly.

Cape-Town based food design specialists Studio H will launch their millet report (2023 is the International Year of Millets) at the show through a striking interactive installation called ‘Don’t Feed the Birds’. The title was drawn from the discovery that it’s almost impossible to find millet that is fit for human consumption in South Africa – most of our millet is processed as animal feed and the easiest way to buy it is as bird food in the supermarket! Ironically, millet is an ancient indigenous African grain with enormous potential to help us solve problems we are facing today.
