Kim Williams Design purpose is to shape how people experience spaces to impact lives positively. Standing at the forefront of interior design, they honour and respect people, understand what clients need on a deep level, and mindfully design purpose-driven environments that shape lives.
Their ethos of honouring and respecting spaces has earned them accolades globally and locally, including five honourable mentions at the Los Angeles IDA Awards 2022, a place in the Top 10 London IDA Awards Middle East & amp; Africa 2023, and Top 5 Global Bedrooms at the London IDA Awards 2023.
Kim also sits on the Management Committee of the Institute of Interior Design for Africa and Middle East and is the author of My Yellow Room. My Yellow Room, the 2nd edition released in 2023, is for home and business owners, creatives and budding interior designers and gives a new perspective to design principles, focusing on the importance of well-functioning purposeful interiors.
The next chapter for the Kim Williams Studio is focused on building on collaborations with like-minded creatives, idea-starters and proactive doers, solidifying relationships to form a solid network of talented contributors, and presenting clients with a broader offering and wider range of expertise. They’re incredibly excited to be showcasing these collaborations at their stand this year, including the new Rakgadi range - inspired by the culturally influenced prints created by fashion designer Jessica Jane Molebatsi - www.kimwilliams.co.za.
